Yeah, how did they ever get those dogs to bark to the tune of Jingle Bells, anyway?

Sorry, John, but I really like that "Blue Christmas" song by Elvis.

Don't like "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer".
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

I really love Christmas songs and I sing them all year round. A really useful one with kiddos is "Santa Clause is Comming To Town". They straighten up pretty quick and love to sing it with me.

Growing up we would put on the reel to reel tapes my dad recorded songs on while in Vietnam. They were the best. All the Christmas music was wonderful. Burle Ives, Bing Crosby and all the greats. Man I am just itchin to hear them all now.

"Little Drummer Boy" is my alltime favorite. I cannot remember who sang it on the reel to reels(he had such a deep rich voice), but love the Bing Crosby and David Bowey version.

    Bah rump pum pum puuummmm!

I'm with John and Dave Barry on the whole "Little Drummer Boy" issue.

Paulie, "Blue Christmas" by Elvis is good, because it's the original. What I can't stand is when they take a perfectly wonderful song by the original crooner, and then let someone like Elvis, or Liza, or whoever, sing it.

I've got a CD that has Liza singing "Jingle Bells", and she's singing the whole song at like 4x speed. It's really frickin' annoying.

Jaqui Valasquez is one of my favorite artists. Her voice is fabulous and I love to hear her sing in English and Spanish. I need to check out her Christmas album.

Do They Know it's Christmas by Band Aid I absolutely love still...and can still name who is singing at any given time in the song.

Last Christmas by Wham...love that as well (oh yeah I'm stuck in the 80s!!)

There's also one by Erasure called She Won't Be Home that I like.

And lastly...I think it's Bob and Doug MacKenzie (???) doing the 12 Days of Christmas...always makes me laugh.

My all time favorite is "The little drummer boy", too. I don't really care who sings it, I just love that song.

Do they Know it's Christmas? by Band-Aid is also one of my favorites.
