All of the above, as well as every comedian who has ever appeared on VH1's "I Love the 80s" or "I Love the 70s". My favorites: Hal Sparks, Michael Ian Black, and Mo Rocca.

Great question, Joe Madre!

I love David Cross too, I have the most hilarious CD of his stand-up act that kills me every time. I was a big fan of Mr. Show, too, with him & Bob Oedenkirk.

I love all kinds of comedians, but to narrow my list I'm going to stick primarily to stand-up comics (otherwise, I'd add the Monty Python troupe, Kids in the Hall, stuff like that):

Bill Hicks
Chris Rock
Dana Gould
Dave Attell
Dave Chappelle
Dennis Leary
Dennis Miller
Eddie Izzard
Ellen Degeneres
George Carlin
Janeane Garofalo
Louis C.K.
Lewis Black
Margaret Cho
Mitch Hedburg
Rex Navarette
Robin Williams
Rowan Atkinson
Steven Wright
Wanda Sykes

Tenacious D (not just comedy, they will rock your ass off while they make you laugh)

Man, I know I'm forgetting somebody...Ah, well, you get the idea.

Steven Wright and Mitch Hedburg are hilarious. My son quotes them all the time and his delivery is perfect.

I think Ellen is still hilarious

We have some Comedy Central stand up taped, I'll have to check the names of the people

I know who you are talking about FG, but I don't know his name. He is really funny though.
