toilet talk gets a response - laughter from non-parental units and horror from parental units. Take away the 'reward' (that being: responding to the potty talk) and it should end... until they are 6-8yrs old. That's when toilet talk and body (not bawdy) talk is at it's peak.

ok you have a laugh on me...

In the grocery store with hubby and kiddo. They are whispering while I load the cart, they keep looking at me and go back to whispering. My daugher is looking at me and laughing, laughing so hard that she can barely breathe. Then, around her hiccups she says 'Whatever, mom' laugh, laugh, laugh, ha,ha,ha. What's the joke? My husband says that to me all the time and I can't stand it.
'What do you want for supper tonight?'
'Whatever'
I have a mild freak-out and decide to make nothing.
Now every time I turn around my precious daugher says to me Whatever, mom.
Mere, it's clean up time
Whatever, mom
Mom seethes, plans to get dad back somehow.

Oooh, my hubby taught my daughter this weeks ago and we're still reliving every morning when she gets dressed:

What are you wearing under there?

I have some proud mama news. My daughter is a high school freshman and in band. Our school has three bands and this year she is in the third band, mostly freshman and a few sophomores. The director told them all to sign up for the second band for next year, but if they wanted to, they could audition for the first band. She did and MADE it!!! We are so proud of her.

Ok, had to come back to whine. My daughter just came out of her toy room and gave me a hug...then she said her tummy hurt and , you can probably guess the rest, she threw up on me. Ewwwwwwwwww!
