Funny story (well to me anyway)
I'm on holidays this week (I'm so excited!) Kiddo and I had the whole day together so I wanted to go to the grocery store to pick up a couple of things just for the family. (usual grocery orders are over $200/wk) M was not wearing matching clothes - this is fine for around the house but I asked her to go change her pants and put some leggings on.
She argued with me and said no, we're only going to the grocery store, what's the big deal?
I told her that you never knew who you would run into at the grocery store. What if we ran into Eric (school crush - she turns all red when anyone says his name) She scooted upstairs and changed and PUT ON SPARKLY BLUSH!
We went to get our things. We were not half way through the produce section (first stop) and we hear "M!!"
We both turned to see who it was.. it was Eric!! She waves shyly and we move on.
As we walk away she says Mom, it's a good thing I changed!
to which I replied : never question your mother!

ha! score one for moms!

It is always a good thing to wear the sparkley blush, because you just NEVER know!

Well sometimes it's not always the blush's fault. But you should ALWAYS be prepared for every contingency.

Usually I will go out looking like something the cat dragged in with the thought: "I won't see anyone I know". Well that ALWAYS jinxes me because that's when I run into everyone I know.
