Re: The Oasis - A spot for FORT parents

Does anyone have a college age child who is a total pain when they come home for breaks? My son came home for spring break last night with everything he owns in the back of his truck (he's switching dorms). I told him it was going to start raining, but he chose to sit and watch tv. Then when it started he was is a huge angry rush to get everything in... in a big pile in the living room. I mean MASSIVE PILE. My mom is coming next weekend for Easter and I know his history with stuff he brings home. So we've already had a big fight and I didn't get any sleep last night. *sigh*

No, but I have a HS age one that is a pain.

I think you and I need to go on Spring Break and leave the kids at home.

They could do a new type of video: FORT girls gone wild!!!!!!

Re: The Oasis - A spot for FORT parents

My son had to get his very long hair cut yesterday as baseball season will soon be upon us and his coach insists on a clean look. The last week has been hell as he counted down the days until he would lose his beloved locks. I was not looking forward to the day any more than he was as I knew that on the ride home, he would be miserable and it would somehow be all my fault. Well, the haircut began and he was near tears as it got shorter and shorter. Our haidressers very cute daughter who is 4 years older than him stopped by the shop just as her Mom was finishing his cut and raved how cute he looked. That boys face broke into the biggest smile and he has not complained once. Thank You Jessica!

Re: The Oasis - A spot for FORT parents

I hope my son gets a girl who tells him he looks handsome without his hair. This coming Tuesday I'm getting his hair cut so I can actually see his beautiful green eyes. I'm done with not being able to tell which kid is mine when I go to pick him up from school!

Re: The Oasis - A spot for FORT parents

My son came home for break with his head shaved... a little sheen of hair growing in and about as much beard growth. It really made his beautiful eyes pop out at you. I told him so. He ate my leftover Chinese I was going to have for lunch today... it was in a stapled bag with MOM in marker on it.
