So M's party was this past Saturday. A very good time was had by all. I'm very happy to say that everyone attended - including the twin (yay!) Unfortunately a few of the parents decided to ignore the'no presents please' request and brought one anyway. It put my in kind of an uncomfortable position... half brought presents and half didn't. Before I let M open them I made a little speech about how nice it was to have all of them with us and it was M's true present to have so much fun with all of her friends. blahblahblah. I think the girls understood.
It was a great time. And also the last time that I am having that many kids in my house!
12 kids in 800 sq ft (they werent allowed upstairs) = very few places to hide!

It was very nice and I'm so happy we did it.
Her bday is really this Thursday so we are ordering in Chinese and inviting immediate family over for cake and coffee. That will be so much more relaxing!

My daughter is in Florida doing her final training and testing to be a flight instructor. She walked in the first day all cute and girly to a room full of guys in academy uniforms. One asked if she was there for a trial flight (you fly for free to see if you want to become a pilot) and she answered, no - she was a flight instructor. They were all first years going for their single engine pilot's license, so she outranked them by several degrees. She got the biggest kick out of that. Her hardest test is tomorrow so I'm praying she does well. She also gets fitted for her flight instructor uniform. Am I a proud mamma or what?

I would have loved to be in the room to witness the looks on their faces.

You have every right to be proud, Gut, and I'll be sending good wishes her way tomorrow, although I'm sure she'll do great.

It must be tough getting fitted for a uniform when you're bubbling over with excitement!

Love that dancing banana! Haven't seen it before. She said this week is like reality tv. If you fail a test you're sent home and that's the end of the road! She's going to be studying all night. I told her to be sure to get some sleep. You're prayers would be very much appreciated.

Wow Gut! Good for your daughter. I am sure she will look very cool in her instructor's uniform. Will keep my fingers crossed that all goes well for her. I am sure she will do fine.
