    Non-snow climates

To those people that love snow but never get any, please come up and get it.

    Merry Christmas.

Last year we went until about the end of December with no snow. Now we've got about 5 feet.

    Please take it.

    WOW!
They are calling for a little snow Wednesday night/Thursday morning here... It is the 3rd time they've called for it this season.......... We'll see if we actually get some this time

I can't wait, and since I work Thursday, it will be fun to have a snow day

Our snow is melting. It's practically shorts weather today. Really warm winter so far, although the mountains looked beautiful on Thanksgiving Day. Perfectly clear skies and so much snow on the peaks. It was absolutely stunning.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

My friend used to live in Vancouver and she said that if they got as much snow as we got over the past couple days, the whole city would be shut down.

    Simply amazing.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

We've got about a foot on the ground. It could be worse, they called for 12" last night, and we only got about 3.

High of 16 tomorrow, woohoo. Can I move back to Florida now?

They are calling for our first frozen precipitation here on Wednesday night. If we get a dusting they will call school off and there will be wrecks all over the roads.

Its amazing how some people think that just because you have 4 wheel drive you can still drive 55mph over the roads.

Wow, I was about to moan because I hate snow, but it seems as though John and Miss F have the worst cases so far.

I know Buffalo has had a pounding over the last couple of days.
"Lake effect" snow doesn't make it to this side of the lake though, I'm most grateful for that.

It's about 75 here today. Haven't seen the white stuff in 17 years!
I would gladly trade with any of you, but only for a week or two. I feel like my kids are deprived. They have never seen snow, never flown in a plane....

For the last two years in a row my kids have played in the water at the beach on Thanksgiving day!
