Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Did anyone watch any of this today?

I flicked it over and there was Joey, call me Joe, Lawrence singing "Accentuate the positive".
I realised the most positive thing would be to switch it back over.

I listened to it all morning. I'm afraid I'll be humming Broadway showtunes all day now.

The only thing I actually watched was the Billy Joel tune from that new Broadway show. Since he's one of my favorite singers, I had to go watch the guy lip-synch to his own voice. I'm sure he only lip-synched because it was so darn cold his vocal chords were frozen, but still...It was a little odd to watch. I thought I'd accidentally flipped on a Britney Spears concert

I actually went to the parade for a while this morning with the BF. Left early because it was cold, though. BF taped it to see if we made it onto tv. He hasn't watched it yet, but I'll let ya'll know.

I've become disillusioned with that parade as I get older. It seems to me that more and more it's nothing but a chance for NBC to plug it's stars. And besides, I find Katie and Matt highly annoying.

Man, I sound like the Grinch or something, don't I?
