How do you spend Thanksgiving?

Walmart is always the place to go on Boxing day so you can buy half price deocrations and wrapping paper for next year.

I love bargains.

Last year I went from having one brother, one mom and one niece living 1,000 miles away to having an additional father-in-law, six sisters-in-law, six brothers-in-law, nine nieces and 3 nephews right here in Texas. Whew. It's so much fun having a big family, though. Something very new for me.

We have Thanksgiving down at my sister-in-law's ranch in Garrett, Texas. Everyone in the family and even their friends goes. The kids ride a four-wheeler around, or go fishing in a big pond, and the adults just hang out and catch up with one another. Then we all play some games like Taboo or Outburst and pit the men against the women. It's hectic, but tons of fun!

Oh, and of course we watch the Cowboys game. Kelly Clarkson is singing the National Anthem this time.

For the first time in a few years, I only have to spend it at one house. So I'll be going to my mom's, and planting myself on the couch to watch football.

This year it is at my sister's which is about 60 miles away. My other sister will also be there from MO to show off the "new" baby (almost 6 months) Then my kids are staying there for the long weekend so I can work and they can hang out with cousins.
