For me it all depends on the personality. My favorite cat was named Sher Kahn, and she earned it. She had two kittens, and we named them Ghengis and Kubla. That was my favorite little kitty family ever.

omg. How friggin cute can they get!?!?!! I swear, if I don't become a cat collector in my golden ages...something will be wrong. - j/k - I just love kittens/cats sooooo much!
I like the "different" names for my pets..
I have 3 right now (I know I've explained this somewhere here before):
Kizzy: All black, female (Anyone know why I named her that?) 6 yr old
Kudo: Main Coon, male. 1 1/2 yr old. Named him that cause for some reason it fit him, he's unique & I wanted him to have a unique name. Also because of the meaning behind the word in Greek..meaning "glory, renown".
Kowboy: Black/white shorthair. 9 mo's old. When he was a kitten he went through alot of names (Tennessee Tuxedo, Oreo, Tuxxy), we decided on Kowboy cause as a kitten he ran bull-legged. Like he just got off of a horse.Spelled it with a "K"..cause of course, I wanted it unique.
So.. for me, I always have to watch'm for a while. Or if that proves to be difficult, look up words in the dictionary.

heckel and jeckel, winston and churchhill, and btw they are soooooo cute......

I noticed all your pets names start with "K". All my pets names start with "T". When I'm calling them, I start sounding like my mom, going through all their names before I think of the one I'm looking for!![]()
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
For some reason I always liked the name Eva Braun for a cat. I also had a Margaret Thatcher in the past. She was an excellent mouser![]()
ps. This is just my opinion in the matter.

hm... My cat's name is Kitty. I don't think I can help you out on the creative aspect. Adorable cats!!!![]()
My vote goes to Merry and Pippen, but if you don't want LOTR, I also like Maddy and Chloe.
That was my first thought too, or Butterscotch and Caramel because of their coloring. I always end up giving my pets food names somehow. But I really like Merry & Pippin too.Originally Posted by firegirl
Are they calico's but with a lot of white fur? They are absolutely adorable, Harmoj - just so cute.
I also agree with letting them "tell" you what their names should be. Like the calico in my avatar, I wanted to name her Peanut but my husband didn't like that. But after a few days we realized she was just crazy and we were calling her a little nut anyway. So we compromized on Nutmeg.
Enjoy your new kittens.![]()
