I love going for walks - especially at this time of year when the air is cold and crisp and there is a fresh layer of snow on the ground. Its like breathing fresh clean pristine air that just came down from the heavens.

Then its home for a cup of hot cocoa or a flavored herbal tea.

I love it when you walk into the house and can feel the warmth of the heater...and the way your cheeks tingle as they start to warm up after being numb from the cold.

I'm tired, stiff, sore.....but I am in a pretty darn good mood, thank you!

I went skiing this weekend. Great snow in the mountains of CO. But my legs are just spent now. And I didn't get enough sleep last night. But the exercise has me feeling good!

It sounds like a nice hot soak and rub down might fix you up.

Daddio, I did without heat most of the winter last year so, I really appreciate it when I feel that warmth whenever I get home.

I'm with Lucy, so I have a bag of M&M's (diet be damned) and BAked L:ays (but not totally) and am stewing in my little corner. The floor I'm on is all high ego guys, and I'm feeling pretty darn pissy right about now.

Bummed. Had a big fight with the husband, which he completely misunderstood the core issue of, and since I'm too depressed to work at the moment, I'm wandering aimlessly around the internet.

Like MaryBeth, I'm in a "going on vacation in 6 days" mood. Combined with a "we just got 6" of new snow overnight, and I hate snow" mood, with a touch of "people in general are idiots" tossed in for good measure (but that one rarely goes away).

Oh, no! How many will be banished from the FORT today?

I hope everyone tries to enjoy the beautiful picture made by the snow, as long as you don't have to either shovel or drive in it.
