    Sunrise Over NYC

I got the idea for this thread from Ilikai's sunset thread earlier this week. This was the view from my office window at about 6:45 this morning. Its looking east toward New YorK City from Newark, NJ. The buildings in the horizon are NYC. In the first picture you can see lower Manhattan where the WTC was. In the second picture you can see the Empire Stae Builing to the left.

    Hope this works

Me too, FinallyHere. But great idea for a thread. Maybe others can post pictures of sunrises or sunsets from their cities...

Or maybe we can all post red Xs.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

Ahh!!! I can see it on my screen. Wait I think I might know why. The photos are on ofoto.com and I need a password to access it. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I'll work on it. In the mean time I'll attach small versions of them here.

    BTW - any suggestions?

I see the pics, and they're beautiful!

ETA: I meant I could see the originally posted pics.

Ah. Very pretty. Now I am going to have to take some sunrise/set pictures. Those will be tough to beat though. Gorgeous.

Hope this isn't too blurry. It's a pic of myself down off the coast of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba with an amzing sunset in the backround (not to mention the 90 degree heat in December!).

I love the sunset over the water. I think it brings to mind every misguided romantic notion women have knocking around in their imaginations. That really is an amazing pic.

Oh, you aren't bad scenery either

Speedbump, are you still down in Guantanamo Bay?
