Cause the thought of me 20 years from now, still sitting in front of this computer, still spending hours online, while 8 stray cats roam around the room that I've let in from the cold, run around my legs, as I hear the clock on the wall "tick tick tick tick" continue to remind me I still have no life, is an unbearable thought.

I never make any New Year's Resolutions. I usually forget what I resolved to do, anyway.

Besides, I've already lost about 30 pounds now and it's not even the New Year. And I'm not quitting the booze or video games.

Good for you Yellow Apple on the weight loss. I'm with you, I never make resolutions. Why beat myself up anymore if I break them. It's the thought that counts anyway right?

That's great about your weight loss, Yellow Apple. Go You!

As for me, I do have some New Year's resolutions...though it remains to be seen how well I follow through, because I usually forget my resolutions just around the time that I start to remember to the right the correct new year on all my checks.

For what it's worth, here they are:
    1) Stop Procrastinating
    2) Downsize & Organize (I'm an inveterate packrat)
    3) Eat More Healthily
    4) Get More Sleep
    5) Stop Deluding Myself

I'll get into May/June before I remember to always put "04" on the end of dates. Happens every year.

BTW, thanks for the compliments. I'm not really concerned with losing anymore; now I'm just trying to keep the weight off.

I keep listening to my friends who all say that they will stop smoking as their new year's resolution and never do it. :rolleyes
This year, my resolution will be to stop hitting the snooze button.
    Easy enough?

I should probably add, eat more healthy, get a schedule, saving money... But I know it won't last so why bother!

    for all the FORTers
