The beautiful beach where we vacation each summer...it shows waves washing ashore with a fishing pier in it, too. It's beautiful.

I have about a gajillion metric tons worth of random, abstract-y computer-generated backgrounds that I use, and I switch it up probably every week or so.

(In case any of you are squinting, trying to see what song started to come on when I took the screenshot, it's Motor Away by Guided by Voices )

    Good Thread!

I have an extreme closeup sepia toned picture of my niece laughing at the camera. Toothless mouth, big eyes and chubby cheeks. Sometimes I just stare at my desktop.

That's really sweet ToothDoc. I do the same thing but I just leave it up as long as it takes until we feel ready to move on. I think we had Marley's picture up there for a year.

    Amanda, cool desk top

I switch between Clay Aiken from Rolling Stones and Scott Helvenston (Combat Missions contestant who was killed in Fallujah)

I have this supercool picture where a rabbit talks with a shark, the baby shark has its own little treasure (the pearl inside the oyster), and the big shark who smiles (a shark smile mind you) found the big treasure chest on the way to school (and now he might be late to school if he doesn't swim fast).

ps. This is just my opinion in the matter.

I switch fairly often. I just changed it last night to a field of daffodils.
    Count your blessings!
