I feel like a faulty Saskatchewanian because I have never been to the Tunnels of MJ

I would want to see the Tunnels of Moose Jaw simply for the name, and to be able to say: "On vacation, I was in the Tunnels of Moose Jaw!"
P.S. Do they make Tunnels of Moose Jaw t-shirts?

The tunnels are actually pretty neat to see. There are underground passageways and rooms running underneath part of downtown Moose Jaw. One tour tells the story of the bootleggers who smuggled liquor into the States during prohibition (it was rumored that Al Capone spent some time in Moose Jaw). The other tour tells the story of Chinese immigrants who lived in the tunnels, working and saving money for the "head tax" they needed to pay for Canadian citizenship.

CA...don't feel like a faulty Saskatchewanian...I live here and I've only been on one of the tours! Not that this has anything to do with the tunnels, but Michael Bishop being traded to the Riders...what do you think?

And Ellen, I think they do make Tunnels t-shirts!

I can't say I'm surprised that there was a move made, but I am surprised it was for a QB and not a receiver! I guess we'll have to wait and see what the Labour Day Classic brings!

I'm sure they maket-shirts among many other gift shop items..

Yep, Assiniboine Park is in Winnipeg. Winnipeg is lucky to have a few really lovely city parks, and Assiniboine is the largest (the zoo is attached to it). It would have been cooler to have the Narcisse Snake Pits as the Manitoba attraction, though.

I guess they had to include things from Edmonton and Calgary proper, but it would have also been cool to have had the Drumheller dinosaur museum, for instance. The Maritimes kind of got shut out (except for Peggy's Cove) - what about Anne of Green Gables house, at least? They could have tossed out Parliament Hill and used one of those.

We do! I've had it for about 20 years.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

    Hiya! Good to be back.

Yeah, I probably should change my avatar, but I don't have the heart to.

Is it not Labour Day in the US (without the u, of course)? I thought they had Labour Day...anyhow, I will be doing nothing. Absolutely nothing. And loving it.
