No, but I am having fond memories of Joe Canadian running through my head "...it's zed, not zee. Zed." I really hate Molson's, but their ad agency is just brilliant.

My husband, who is from Canada, refuses to just call it a 'Z' which leads to a lot of confusion when we play scrabble cube. In fact, the first time he screamed out use the 'zed' I was like "huh, what, who is zed?"... then we lost the game (as I was still searching for zed).

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peace keeping, not policing,
diversity, not assimilation,
and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal.
A toque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch,
and it is pronounced 'zed' not 'zee', 'zed' !!!!

I had forgotten what some of the words were. I think a lot of the Canadian pride commercials are fantastic. In a lot of ways they beat those heritage moment ones.

Thank you Rattus for bringing back good memories. How happy is everyone that we not only got a medal in Saturday Olympics but a set (Gold, Silver, & Bronze). I was up at 3am Edmonton time watching it on CBC and cheering and singing along to O Canada!

I say zed and zee...half the time I can't remember which one is the Canadian pronunciation - that's American influence for you.

Bubba-Jo-Lyn - I am very happy that we've gotten some medals over the weekend. Very cool. I liked the Huyn (spelling?) woman who won the wrestling gold - she seemed very nice.

Oh, I wish I'd remembered that line the other day. I used to live in Saskatchewan, and someone (from my hometown of Winnipeg, so I can't even blame this one on a non-Canadian) actually said to me, "Oh, my friend so-and-so lives in Saskatoon" and then looked at me expectantly like I just might have happened to run into them during the few years I'd lived there.
