I love the song Mary Did You know a lot... I once sang it 5 years ago or so at various Christmas functions. I also sang Strange Way to Save the World last year... beautiful songs.

The lyrics are funny. I thing they didn't list the little "side" voices on the web. I listen to a 24/7 Christmas songs station and I haven't heard that song this year. Hopefully, they'll play that and the Guido songs for us and give us a laugh. (No Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer yet either).

    Walking 'Round in Women's Underwear
Sung to the tune "Walkin' in the Winter Wonderland"

Lacy things, the wife is missing
    Didn't ask for her permission
I'm wearing her clothes, her silk pantyhose
    Walking 'round in women's underwear

In the stores, there's a teddy,
    With little straps, like spaghetti
    It hold me so tight,
    Like handcuffs at night,
    Walking 'round in women's underwear

In the office, there's a guy named Melvin
He pretends that I am Murphy Brown,
He'll say are you ready, we'll say -Whoa, man!
At least until the wife is out of town.

    Later on, if you wanna
    We can dress, like Madonna
Put on some eyeshade, and join the parade,
    Walkin 'round in women's underwear

    Lacy things, missing
    Didn't ask permission
I'm wearing her clothes, silk pantyhose
I'm walking around in women's underwear

Mantenna, sometimes I feel like I'm the only person on earth that knows The Coventry Carol!!! It's my all time favorite. Loreena McKennitt's version gives me chills . . .

Second is O Holy Night, and third is good ol' fashioned Away in a Manger (but to the tune of Scarborough Fair, of course!)

Well, since chorus has been drilling Christmas songs into my head all week (Christmas concert on Sunday, and we've had 2 hour long practices all this week and all saturday and Sunday) I'd have to go with Breath Of Heaven. Ok, so it's not actually a carol, but it's Christmasy enough. Not that anyone's probably heard it...

I like O Holy Night even though I can't hit the high note towards the end. I think my favorites are Santa Baby, Blue Christmas and maybe Suzy Snowflake. When I was very, very young we had a record with Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer on one side and Suzy Snowflake on the other. I think it was Gene Autry singing, but I'm really not sure. I was like 4 or 5 when we played it and it kind of got worn out.

Why thank you! Actually, that's not me on the piano, though...I'm in the bass section on this one.

I play piano for the leeeeetle kids.

We had that one too Gracie, I do think it was Gene Autry and we played it and played it. (Here comes Suzy Snowflake dressed in her snow white gown)
