I knew you'd give this thread some flavor, Manny. I love your choices, and I would love to hear you sing.

I've been listening to Christmas music all afternoon. Here are a few more favorites:

    Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring
    Ave Maria
Angels We Have Heard On High

Narada has several Christmas CDS that are quite good. Kind of a new-age flavor, but not weird or spacey at all.

I love Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by anyone but Judy Garland does it best.

I like Barenaked Ladies and some woman whose name escapes me now doing We Three Kings and God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman (is it Marianne Faithful?)

The same woman does I Saw Three Ships, with the Chieftons and I like that too.

Plus I do like the Mannheim Steamroller albums, they are great to listen to.

I'm not really a big fan of traditional Xmas carols but I do like:

Father Christmas by The Kinks and

    Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses
Some people are like slinkies, they're useless until you push them down the stairs.

Christmas Wrappings by the Waitresses is my all time favorite Christmas song.

On a religious note, Breath of Heaven (Mary's Song) by Amy Grant makes me cry.

Jewelsy, this is a great thread! Of course, I love Christmas and the charity and good feelings it seems to bring!

    Some of my favorites are:

    O Holy Night
The one song Hallelujah, from Handel's Messiah. (I went to a performance of it
last year and it was almost three hours long. It was nice how the audience stood up for the one song).
    The Christmas Song
    Joy to the World
That Santa Baby song. (I'm not sure of the real title, but she wants a lot of expensive stuff and with her voice, she just might get it ).
    O Tannenbaum
One the First Day of Christmas
A more current song of All I want for Christmas is You (I don't know if that's the title. It's very upbeat).
