But anyhoo, I saw this website in the USA Weekend that comes in my Sunday paper.

    The site is www.pandora.com

You type in a song or band you like and the site will find songs of similar sound. I typed in "Fix You" by Coldplay and got some hits back from songs I've never heard but were pretty good. Not as good as "Fix You" but still not bad. I haven't put in anything else yet to see how accurate it is.

Let me know what ya'll think if you try it.
Ooh, Pandora.com is a wonderful site! I've found quite a few of the bands I'm into now through that site, and whenever I'm in the mood to find something new or tire of what I've been listening to, I go there.

This is apparently extremely popular on the web: It's called "Ghostriding the whip". Search for it on the internet on your favorite video site and ye shall see stupidity in action.

    The news story is here:

    Then hit VIDEO.

This site lets you watch the air traffic around several major U.S. airports. you know, if you're into planes and stuff.

So far I have found 32 of 50. I've been playing for just over 20 min and I am starting to get stumped!

If they've been doing it for at least three years, I guess they must be getting some business. I can't figure out how they get notified when someone dies?......Can you imagine getting an email--"I just wanted to let you know that I'm dead now"

    Ronald McHummer Sign-O-Matic

Make up your own McDonalds sign about their bad choice for advertising.

This is cute. McDonald's often emphasizes its "long-standing global commitment to environmental protection and leadership." So why did they give away 42 million toy Hummers in Happy Meals?

The fast-food chain that helped make our kids the fattest on Earth cut a deal with General Motors to sell future car buyers on the fun of driving a supersized, smog-spewing, gas-guzzling SUV originally built for the military. Use the Sign-O-Matic™ to say what you think of this misguided marketing marriage.

Don't think this has been posted here, it's really cool. It will analyze your face to see which of the 4000 celebs in the database you look the most like, giving you on average something like 10 hits (men and women). You upload a picture and let the site do the analysis based on 3-models of face recognition (works best on pictures where your face is facing the camera). You have to register, but it's for free.

Of course I rate high on androgynity, in many pics I've tried this thing on, I've had higher women percentages than men percentages.

This one I had very high percentage matches on
    Halle Berry 97 %
    Leonardo DiCaprio 96 %
    Johnny Depp 96 %
    Katie Holmes 96 %
    Monica Bellucci 96 %
    Fernanda Tavares 90 %
    Denise Richards 90 %
    Alessandra Ambrosio 90 %
    Jude Law 86 %
    Katherine Heigl 86 %

    This is crazy, only women...
    Mira Sorvino 86 %
    Yasmeen Ghauri 83 %
    Grace Kelly 83 %
    Lisa Snowdon 80 %
    Stacy Keibler 80 %
    Kajol 78 %
    Isabella Rossellini 78 %
    Claire Forlani 76 %
    Katie Holmes 76 %
    Daniela Pestova 75 %

When you've done this on a sufficient number of pictures, you understand it's not just "mumbo jumbo", it's rather a good analyst

This series is probably my favourite
    90 % David Beckham
    83 % Johnny Depp
    78 % Alessandra Ambrosio
    76 % Fernanda Tavares
    76 % Alexa Havis
76 % Mini Anden (Swedish baby!)
    76 % David Spade
    76 % Christopher Lambert
    76 % Raol Bova
    75 % Cary Grant
