7 out of 10. Seems I know my JavaBeans from my fava beans, my slashers from my slashdotters .

Me too. But geez, they could have made it a little harder...I recognized David Berkowitz right away.

The horryfying part is that the reason I did so well is because I reconized the serial killers not because I recognized the geeks. I wish it was the other way around!

This isn't a "messed up thing", but it's cool enough that I wanted to share.

    www.meebo.com

It's a site that uses the new AJAX technology on the web to provide you with a web-based interface to all of your IM clients. If you're on the road, or at a public internet terminal, you can use this to IM your buddies. It's pretty darn slick.

Computer Geek or Serial Killer = 8/10.

I was surprised I got so many correct. Since I really don't know many serial killers. Just a couple of cereal killers Also, they were all men, so that made it easier .

I reported them to their advertising network. This is the kind of blatant mis-use of internet advertising that results in reduced rates for everyone (because each ad is less effective, so advertisers want to get more ads for the same price), and is the reason that pop-ups have overrun us all (not to mention the fact that I can no longer support the FORT completely through advertising, and the deficit comes out of my pocket).

I'd urge everyone NOT to click.
