For anyone who hasn't solved it...

LOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK! THESE ARE DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO SOLVE THE PUZZLE!!

Count the number of dots on the edges of the die faces. Only do this for die faces with a center dot, or 1 (zero petals), 3 (two petals), and 5 (4 petals). The even number faces (2, 4, 6) will count for zero petals. The number of dots on the edges of the die faces with the odd number of dots is the amount of rose petals.

    Thank you, haejin

Actually, I was sort of on the right track. But...

I thought it was a word play - that it had something to do with reading *rose* as *rows*.

Ajane, me too. It was frustrating because it worked some of the time.

So, somebody's college professor spent a year on it. Who would keep coming back to something like that?
When I did get it to work, my reaction to the solution was big whoop. There wasn't anything clever about the question. Might as well asked how many cockroaches are in the drain?

If you find the chicken disturbing, perhaps rightfully so, you can blame Burger King, I'm pretty sure they made the website.

However, if you like the chicken, perhaps rightfully so, you can print out a chicken mask to wear around the office. You will gain the respect of all around you, especially your boss.
