OK, I either looked like some of these photos or I was related or friends with people in these photos.

Ya know, I'd think those pictures were funny if I didn't live through the 70's...

Yep, I remember those poses and backdrops! I use to work for Sears Portrait Studio for awhile after high school!

My mom freelanced as a school portrait taker and I used to bust up laughing when she'd bring out those combs in a box!

Oh my. I had that hair cut in my school pictures from kindergarten when I was 3 yo.

ETA: There is a picture on that site of two shirtless guys with a younger girl in front of them. I cannot for the life of me figure out what the photographer was thinking. The photo strikes me as rather disturbing...

I thought that photo was weird too.

Well I've got the Farrah Fawcett hair in my HS photos. I mean the 70's feathered hair and it was PERFECT!!! sprayed within an inch of it's life. Someday I'll scan one in and let you all get a good laugh.

I think my favorite was the book shelf photo where the backdrop was crooked and the books look like they are sliding downhill. Or the one of the couple in the brandy snifter. Now that was weird. But not as weird as the shirtless guys.

    The mullet's were funny too.

If I remember correctly, my cousin's wedding invitation featured the happy couple in a brandy snifter. I can recall everyone in our house "Ooing and Aahing" over it so much that it got the place of honor smack dab on the front of our refrigerator, attached with a piece of magnetic fruit.
