Was this on Dateline? I think I saw it promo'ed but didn't catch the show.

I used to be an assistant restaurant manager at a Italian Fast Food restaurant (Fazoli's). They would show us tapes like that in our training. Pretty gross stuff. Rats running through the food and all kinds of gnarly stuff.

    UGH! Now that's nasty.

My husband and my cousin have both had "food poisoning" symptoms after eating chicken products at Taco Bell. Chicken from restaurants scares me anyway. I hardly ever eat it when I go out.

Well, I'd swear I got food poisoning from a Taco Bell once myself.
But I still eat there occasionally. Just a different one.

I'm afraid to say some of the things we were shown.

Okay I'll give a gross warning

One of the worst. They showed us someone dipping a dead mouse out of pancake batter and using it anyway By the way, these were tapes from 'other restaurants' not Fazoli's.

It hasn't stopped me either. I just make sure to avoid the chicken!

Oh, I should add, I once worked at a Cracker Barrel, and they kept a very clean kitchen. I know it's not fast food but... anyway, just for the record, they were very clean. And I don't just say that 'cause I got to wear my name on my apron.
