I want a laptop. I need it so that I have access to the computer when I need it so that in the case my parents are on the computer, I don't have to wait to use it.

Oh yes, I also want new running sneakers, some CDs, and a gift card to Barnes & Noble.

PP if Santa doesnt bring you what you want you can always join a book club. When I joined DoubleDay Book Club I was allowed to choose 4 or 5 books for ? $1 and I had to agree to purchase 3 more in 3 years. I got my $40 cookbooks and then I waited on the other that I had to puchase and I got 3 Calvin and Hobbes anthologies for $14 each.. A HUGE bargain.

I want a DVD player. Sometimes I think I'm the only person left in this world who doesn't have one.

BTW, does anybody know what to get for (or even say to) an ex who's been in Iraq since May and will be there til next May?

A big bottle of valium. I'm hosting Christmas for the first time, and my in-laws are super critical.

Nope, you are not alone Terena, we still don't have a DVD player. I think I'm the only one at my school who doesn't. It's just crazy, but my rent's insist on using tapes. I keep telling them, it's not the 90's anymore, get with the program. But, hey who ever listens to me?

It took me years to get my parents to get a phone answering machine. I don't think they'll break down and get a DVD player in this lifetime. They only seem to rent movies from the library anyway.

Of course I'm probably 2x your age, lamonte! I'm just saying it doesn't change even after you move out.

    For Christmas I'd like:
    my own domain
to renew my Nexus patron account

...and that's all I can think of for the moment.

    And LOL at nausicaa!
