    LOL!!!
Yeah, I would think: "Oh really? You don't use those godawful factory farms?"
You can make chicken salad or chicken soup, but you "cook" , "prepare" or in the south "fix" (yes, I know...) chicken, fish, or beef if it's just the meat.
Had I written the script (or copy-edited it), I would have used "prepare."

Yes, Facebook is the place to go for an abundance of grammatical errors.

My niece (age 14) recently posted: "At wendys in flordia."

    Re: Grammar

This facebook post pretty much speaks for itself. A woman that I used to work with, who is my age, posted this today.

Talking on the telephone to someone with children is like talking to someone with Turrets!
When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down "Happy." They told me I didn't understand the assignment. I told them they didn't understand life. - John Lennon

Me too! Near UWM, on Bartlett (I think), not far from Kenwood.

I ran across "her's" online today...urgh. Maybe just a typo, though?

Thanks for listening; I feel better now.

Although spelling aside I have to admit it IS a pretty good description of phone calls with kids!

I have a friend that I hate talking with on the phone as she is always in the middle of a sentence and then comes out with something directed at the kids.

    the Turrets thing has me

I have a facebook friend that is AWFUL with spelling and grammar. She is in her 60's. But in her defense, she has dyslexia and wasn't diagnosed with it until much later in life, so she says that school was awful for her and she still struggles so much. Or it could be an excuse. Who knows. But even knowing that, her posts make me cringe sometimes.
