My mom got picked to be one of these families about 6 months ago. Thanks to her, you all will be watching a lot more of The Naked Chef. And Oz. Lots and lots of Oz.

in my house? you'd see a lot of grazing (for about 10 minutes at a time) and very little consistancy. My wife hates comercial, and if she hits one, there is no promice she'll return to the programming.

If it were up to my family, you wouldn't watch television at all except for Survivor, CSI, Mad-TV, and the news. A little sad, now that I think of it.

So how did you get picked? Was it completely random? Do you feel an extra responsibility to keep the TV on even if you didn't feel like watching?

It was that simple. When they call you just think of the show they least want to hear about.

I haven't watched J of A yet or Karen Sisco. It's sad that they haven't given them much of a chance.
It's not the kind of TV that we usually watch.

We were a Nielsen family many years ago. This was before reality tv. I remember submitting a largely blank booklet. Hubby and I used to watch the news and that's pretty much it.

I have no idea what we did back then. If I didn't have reality tv and the FoRT now, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. Was climbing the walls during the recent blackout.

Unwrapped, a food network show ALL DAY LONG
and sometimes, we could have Chocolate with Jaques Torres, or Sweet Dreams

Oh and of course- the SIMPSONS! duhhhh but there would be new episodes every night and reruns during the day. And they would be the good reruns

Also a Nielsen family. It was a while ago, and things have changed (but they did send me a dollar!). But if they went by me: BB would run year-round. MTV would be showing nothing but Newlyweds. 24/7. VH1 is okay. Comedy Central. CSI Miami. many many more. ................
