I agree with both of you. I hate the IKEA commercial. That lady annoys the crap out of me. I haven't seen the other one.

The commercial where the kids all text each other to have silly string fights in public places. Totally irresponsible on the part of the advertiser. Kids will do things they see on tv and it irritates the crap out of me.

We once allowed the kids to use it indoors. Big mistake. It took forever to get it off the carpet and when I finally did, it stained the pink color and blue color in lines....

Silly String and Play Dough, 2 toys kids love and Parents cringe over.

my mom wouldn't let me have playdough when i was a kid ... she said it would get stuck in the carpet.

so i have a couple of things of playdough in my office.

There are two commercials out there now that really upset me. One is Ikea - the woman gets her receipt and checks it, and it is so low she hustles to the car yelling, "Start the car! Start the car!" because she thinks she's getting away with something.

That one drives me round the bend too! Not only that, but a local car company is using the same "Start the Car" with a guy yelling it as if he "stole a great deal" at the dealership. Makes me cringe. It's also on the radio.
