Oh man the one where she plugs the boat with her Lady gear Grosses me out so hardcore! And I never get grossed out by anything!

My biggest peeve with the JC commercials is the whole "Chicken Fettuccini" thing. Um, fettuccini is just a type of pasta. She's getting excited over noodles? I think they hope that people hear Chicken, and fettuccini, and their mind fills in "Alfredo" or something, but they never said anything about Alfredo. Or any kind of sauce for that matter.

Yesterday afternoon my nine-year-old was watching the Cartoon Network in another room and then comes out with a confused look on her face and says, "What's pornography?" Apparently there was some stop child pornography commercial on. UGH. It's as bad as the sex commercials because I have to explain to her what it is and then have the whole what is acceptable and not acceptable talk.

Someone needs to invent a box that will automatically black out commercials when watching a program. Maybe it could play Radio Disney or something during the blackness.

EWW!! I just saw the dumbest commercial. It was for Stayfree maxipads. It had a ball (of liquid, I guess) bouncing around in a maxipad with pinball sounds going on in the background. That's just wrong.

Ugh, I haven't seen that one. I was noticing that you started the thread 2 1/2 years ago with a commercial I only saw recently - the Mercedes with the monster under the hood. What an awful ad campaign.

That, and the one for the KY warming massage gel "and... personal lubricant" where the husband suddenly peeks over the newspaper with raised eyebrows. Like the thought of getting all slimed up turns him on.

Another one is the ad for some drain opener where the huge clog of hair drops on someone's dinner in a restaurant and the homeowner is asking where that clog went. That's just Ew.

I can't stand Kirstie Alley anymore. Even back with the Pier One commercials she looks and acts like a drunk who never brushes her hair.

I hate those KY and drain opener ones too. I'm not a Kirstie fan but I have to say she does look great in the new Jenny Craig commerical. I wonder how much of it was JC though and how much was personal trainer and chef?

The Lamisil commercial where the "bug" flips up the big toenail. I cringe and look away every time!

right now NY is showing these commercials about smoking. One is a guy with a hole in his neck from having a traech (sp?). I will choose how to talk to my children about not smoking - I don't need her seeing some man cleaning a hole in his neck with a q-tip. There's another one about a girl saying she doesn't want to grow up like her mother, because her mother is dying of lung cancer.

Scare tactics are not fair to the unsuspecting child. Ugh.

    Some credit card

Am I the only one who is creeped out by the identity theft commercial? With the guy sitting on his bed in his underwear and out of his mouth comes some valley girl speak about shopping?

And look, commercial maker - your commercial is so darned good that I cannot remember the bank! Ha!
