Why is there a 's' in the word Lisp?

If sign makers went on strike what would their signs say?

If one sycronized swimmer drowns do they all have to drown?

Why do they print the sign 'no pets except seeing eye dogs"? If they have a seeing eye dog they can't read the sign anyway!!

Found some more.. on a site.. these are funny too

Why do banks charge you a "non-sufficient funds fee" on money they already know you don't have?

    2) Why do you press harder on a remote control when you know the battery is dead?

    3) Since light travels faster than sound, isn't that why some people appear bright until you hear them speak?

    4) If it's zero degrees outside today and it's supposed to be twice as cold tomorrow, how cold is it going to be?

    5) Isn't Disney World a people trap operated by a mouse?

    6) Why are they called buildings, when they're already finished? Shouldn't they be called builts?

    7) Why is the alphabet in that order?

That last one on the list is a line from Steven Wright, the comedian. But it's just not the same with his followup...

"Why is the alphabet in that order? Is it because of that song?"

Why do we demand speed laws that will stop fast driving but then won't buy a car if it can't go over 100 miles per hour?

Do the oxygen masks on airplanes really provide any oxygen? Or are they just to muffle the screams?
Would you get kicked out of RiverDance if you used your arms?

In light of the upcoming season

Are Santa's Elves the same Elves who are the Keebler Elves? And after making toys moonlight by baking cookies and crackers?

(What exactly are 'reindeer games' anyway?

When Santa Claus goes home does he enter his house through the chimney or the door? )

Do you think Santa Claus has the right idea? You know, only visiting people once a year?

If Santa Claus had a father, do you think there must have been a Grandfather Clause?

Would you call Santa's helpers, Subordinate Clauses?

Are we sure the Jolly Green Giant and Santa aren't the same guy in a different suit? All either of them say is 'ho, ho, ho' isn't it?:santawink :santawave :santabear :rudolph :santasmil

That's right. We stuck red hot pokers into Modesty's softer spots until she promised not to answer any of these. She held on longer than I thought she would. Tough little cookie.
