Paulie, I never though you were a god. I just always thought you had a nice tushy. I have been running behind you in posts for a while.
It occurred to me that no matter how bleak things might seem at times, at least I have a head. ----Stargazer

    Feif!
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

OK - after thorough scientific studies I think I've finally figured out my optimal way of replying: At the first reply in the day, make a full reply, and bring up the smilies window you can get in the full reply. Following replies, use quick reply, and get the smilies from the smilies window you brought up at the beginning of the day (which is more compact and gives better overview than the other one).
That being said... I'll probably continue doing full replies

Paulie is way too far away for me... but I trust you are correct, Feif .

I always use quick reply and if I don't remember the smilie code I just guess. Then I edit if I was wrong.

Another easy way to deal with this smilies is to open another window just for the smilies and keep it minimized or in the background for quick and easy reference

My god there is a lot of Paulie-worship action going on... And you're right, Feif. His Tush is rather attractive... ;-)

    That's why I'm anti-Ezboard. The slow servers.
