    Doing something for someone without expecting anything in return(except for warm fuzzies) is certainly a good deed. I would definatly call your 160 mile bike adventure a good deed.

    I teared up too with Zhora's story. I lived in the community service dorm in college and we did a lot of work with the homeless. We offered a lot of food and clothing to the homeless, but most were just so grateful that people acknowledged them and talked to them like real human beings.

    So many nice people here ,I don't think you'd find that on most of the other boards. (take that SurvivorSucks) I don't really talk about myself much, but lately I have been helping paint and work on my parents house. I've been through a lot over the past few years, but they have pretty much always been there for me. I am indebted to them greatly, but this is a start.

    Well... I'll be doing some cleaning up for a child care center... Though I must say I'm not that happy about it... It's Saturday and I have to be a cleaner ! Argh ! I just have to do it for school work. I would much prefer if schools will give us that time to do the community service that we want and not force the whole class to lump together and go for it.
