I've got an interesting puzzle this year. I used to always decide on a costume by picking out a character who already wears glasses. That way, I won't look like a dork being, you know, Indiana Jones with glasses. But since I had LASIK, I can be...anyone. Bearing in mind that I'm pretty poor at designing and building my costume, I still seem to have lots of options.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

i haven't thought about it yet....
last year i was Leeloo from the fifth element. the year before i was a hippie... which of course is easy to do as the clothes in fashion are very 70s. the year before i was a washed up porn star and the year before that i was a vampire victim.

this year i might have my bf be hef and i'll be a playboy bunny.

or i might make him a wizard and i'll be a faerie. i dunno.

Paulie, now that you're sans-glasses, you really could be Indiana Jones.

[QUOTE=John]I'm going to be "guy with wife who turns out the lights and pretends not to be home".

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who does this. I'm sure once I have children it will change, but for now lights off.

I'm going as a goth. Moon Skin Child said that already, but that's the only costume I can think of that is possible for me to dig up and wear without looking absolutely ridiculous. And I'm pretty pale with black hair already, so that's good. Plus I have lots and lots of black-colored clothing.

I love Halloween! Last year I was a vampire, year before that very successfully I dressed up like my true ancestors and went as a Viking with a bloody axe and everything.

This year I'm not sure yet, a gypsy, a witch or a native american comes to mind (since 2004 will most likely be my year to become an American, maybe I'll save the native American for next year

Halloween rocks, it's a reason in itself for living in America!@

I've never actually celebrated Halloween before; getting to dress up as anything you want for a night sounds like so much fun! I wish I got to do that as a little girl...
