    What's with the pirates?

    Wondering what's up with the pirates? Well, it's partly the premiere tonight of Survivor: Pearl Islands.

    But also, tomorrow is National Talk Like a Pirate Day. Didn't know that, did ya, landlubbers?

    Reminds me of this pirate game I used to play, and when a ship was sinking this voiceover guy would say "She's going to go down!" in an excited voice. I remember thinking "Whoa, settle down, Beavis."

    Then if you were boarding another ship, it would say "boarding commenced!"

    Ah, yeah, lots of laughs at that.

    You can only get away with pickup lines like that one day a year: today. So, use one on your intended vict, er, date tonight, after throwing a few "arrr"'s into your conversation.

    Just remember to remove the parrot. Someone could get hurt.
