heard on the radio this evening that she won't do time, that they don't go for time on the first offense. She will do community service, I think they said probation, and has to make restitution to Saks.

She could do that with a commercial for them:

    Do you know me?

I recently completed some unauthorized acquisitions from this store.

I can tell you, when I go shopping....I am looking for the best, and that's why I shop exclusively at Saks...

I saw the prosecutor on the news last night saying that even if the defendant wasn't famous they still wouldn't have asked for jail time.
Good thing really, there's enough over-crowding as it is.

It's really sad that this case has gotten so much media attention. It's not like there's nothing going on in the world these days.

Bill, those are some great lines!

In addition to the Caroline Rhea comment, before the verdict came out, David Letterman said that the jury was very into the case, but kept waiting for the other shoe to drop - from her purse.

It's clear to me that Ms. Ryder has some serious issues that she needs to get resolved. I hope she cleans up her act.

There will come a day when shy, retiring Jodaar will finally come out of his shell and share his true feelings with us.
