Is he anal about his car?? Get him a whole bunch of stuff for his car.. care stuff,, CD visor holder,, and have it detailed and serviced for him.. gassed up all the works.. a few new fav or old fav cd's.. tire cleaner,, little vacum all the works.. new car drink cup etc.. then give him a great present in the back seat later.. lol

If you are doing the golf thing, get him a custom made Bettinardi putter. Its what many of the tour guys use and will make him the envy of his foursome. They are extremely high quality Putters, but they do cost. figure 300-600.
For my Birthday, my wife came downstairs in her frumpy Fleece Bathrobe and told me to look inside. She was wearing my old College Hockey Jersey and nothing else. Made me feel young and hot all over again! :yay
If he likes to golf alot then visit his favorite course and get him a gift certificate for a few rounds.
