What simple things make you happy?

Sometimes little things are just enough to make us crack a smile, crawl out of that black mood we can get into, or just plain cheer us up....What gets you happy?

I have a few things...
My roses...everytime I see a new bud...i get so happy and smiley.

A new issue of Instyle or Usweekly in the mailbox

When my Boston Terriers Lulu and Hoppy smile! (they really do!)

Watching my dogs run

My hubby saying I look gorgeous even when i have icky sweats on and no makeup.

A glorious sunny day (and not having to work on that day!)

Kauai ( my home away from home!)

Mothers with little babies that are coooing and oooing. The look of love on a parents face as they just sit and hold their new one and the undying trust a baby has. Gets me every time! I love kids!

It really doesn't take much to make me happy... my mood turns up when a good song comes on over the radio

a medium Dr. Pepper in a styrafoam cup with a skinny straw and lots of small ice! mmmmm perfect!

My daughters little white hiney ( she is 5) and her brown tan lines when she is in the bath! So cute!

When I am having a bad day it usually makes me feel better when I pick up my daughter. Nothing better than a hug from your child.

Well, that Dr. Pepper thing sounds pretty good to me, FG.

Right now, having just experienced it, I'd have to go with laying down with my son in the crook of my arm and reading him bedtime stories makes me pretty darned happy.

Sometimes, just a smile does the trick. I think i depends on whose doing the smiling though.

Seeing seals swimming with the ferry on my trip to/from work.

Basically it is a medium DP from Sonic, but I know some of you don't have Sonic in the north..
