| Putting cozy socks on and climbing into bed (which is a couch, for now). I love my little daydream fantasies before I drift to sleep. |

| Watching the 3 and 4 year olds in my daughter's gymnastics class. All those tiny girls doing somersaults and finishing with a big ta-da is so cute. Girls seem to grow up and lose their self-esteem, but for now they are so proud of themselves and I love that look on their faces.

| I love to snorkel. Even though I can't swim! I'm so proud of myself that I conquered my fear of the deep blue! Hehe.

| I was on vacation this week and camped out for a couple of days at a "primitive" camping area in a Wildlife Management Area way out in the country. No one else was there, there were no lights anywhere near, just a big full moon, and no sounds except for a whip-poor-will, two different kinds of owls, several different frogs and who knows how many species of insects. It was great.

| Hearing the sweetest little voice in the world saying "Grandma! Grandma!" out the window as I walk up the sidewalk to my daughter's house. Hearing that same little voice coming out of the bathroom saying "Grandma, wait for me! Don't go 'til I get back!" And the little teeny kid with the curly red locks running into the room with pants half pulled up, shirt half tucked in, and the biggest wedgie ever - making sure Grandma is still there. God, I love that baby. | |
