| Getting a phone call from an ex-employee wanting to know how I'm doing. He's bringing a few of my old employees by to see me at the restaurant Sunday. This is a group of Mexicans I had that were great employees. I've told the story before of how I had them over for Christmas dinner one year. A bunch of good guys. | |

| Unk - How nice that they want to pay a visit! That says a lot about you as a boss. Have a great time on Sunday. |

| I think it's nice coming into the General Discussion forum and see that the Troubles thread hasn't been updated since my last visit. It just feels good in a way. | |

| I was on the phone with my sister tonight and my 4 month old nieces were laughing in the background and on the phone. I was so excited, I have not seen them since Christmas. ![]() | |

| I got through a 12 hour work day and now I'm home and I don't have to get up at 5:30 tomorrow morning. | |

| I had a Dr. Seuss day with my daughter today. We stayed in our pajamas all day (even going to Wal-mart that way) and ate green eggs and ham. It was fun and relaxing after a very long and stressful work week.

| Re: What simple things make you happy? Bubbles--not bubble baths, bubble gum, or bubble wrap--just bubbles. Watching the Best of Nickelback at the DCU (where I saw them in concert) on the internet. Knowing that in 15 days I get to go to NYC to see my family.

| Re: What simple things make you happy? My 4 year old when he wakes me up with kisses. Or when he just comes up to me for a hug and a kiss for no reason during the day. Which is often because he is a big hugger! My dogs climbing onto my lap every single time I sit down. They love me! My Minpin, Zeus, when he sits on the back of the sofa with his front paws on my shoulder and rubs his tiny little head against my cheek. When the husband calls to ask what I want for dinner! I love not having to cook. Watching my son make a basket during a game. A clean (inside and out) car. When the trash gets taken out and I didn't even have to ask. Swimming. |
