Well I finally got a coffee pot (broke the old one in the move) so right now as I type this I am enjoying my first morning of McDonalds' free coffee and its GOOOOOOOODDDD!!!! It's amazing how something so simple as my own coffee can make such a difference.

I never thought Folgers in a can could taste so good. LOL!
And I'm using McDonald's creamers left over that have been in the fridge, so I guess its not totally non McDonald's coffee.

I'd definely have to say that my simplest pleasure today is coffee I didn't have to go through a drivethrough to get. I think my friends at McDonald's will wonder where I am today. LOL!
It's bad when you are new in town and have already gotten on a first name basis with the drive thru ladies. LOL!

Firestorm and gabriel: I so agree with you both as well. I love to arrive at my back door and have my kitts greet me or drag themselves up from sleeping and meow for hugs and kisses, I just melt.

gabriel: Mona and Joey are looking pretty great! Well, acutally Mona looks a bit peeved you took her photo with a flash

Mona always looks peeved unless I am brushing or skritching her. Especially when her "LITTLE" brother is hogging the foot stool.

The "little" brothers do tend to be bigger and hog good attention spots, don't they! I think Tootles and Joey would not get along. They would want the exact same place

My simple thing of happiness today was a tiger ice cream cone down in the river valley from a vendor. The girl behind the counter gave me extra scoops, even though I paid for one scoop, because she had lots of that flavor and it wasn't busy! Sweet. Literally. Yummo.!

Halloween chocolate bars are in the stores

I love the little small sized bars! I buy a box (or two) of 50 or so and put it in the freezer. Then I can have a small treat all year round! Smarties, Coffee Crisp, Aero, red licorice, Oh Henry, Eat More: so many to choose from! Great to keep in my purse in case I need a sugar boost or in the glove compartment of the car in case I get stuck in traffic and need a "nice light snack".

Listening to the owl that hangs out in our tree late at night. The owl is here several nights a week and I love listening to its whoot, whoot, whoot. Such a beautiful and gentle sound.
