Seeing, touching, hearing and smelling all the signs of spring.

New green growth on spruce trees, little shoots coming out of the ground, the smell after a rain, little birds chirping, squirrels chasing each other, flowers popping in beautiful colors, white fluffy clouds, warm breezes, .... and so on

Especially seeing the kitts so happy as if it was their first spring EVER

I drove to Louisiana today to visit my parents. Something about coming "home" makes me happy even though I don't live here anymore. The pace is much slower. Life seems much simpler. Driving through the small towns gives me a nostalgic feeling and I can't help but smile.

I know I know same old broken record...... coming home to Mona & Joey with them sitting near the door all excited when I come in..

Remember folks you may think it's kitty kat for we're glad you're here, but in reality the undertone is hrmpf .. the staff finally shows up...

My two doggies sleeping (and snoring) half on each other next to me and my b/f sleeping and snoring on the other couch. He had to work at midnight last night until 1PM today. Everyone's tired and we're watching (yeah right) the baseball game - Astros vs Pirates.

a year ago I'd have posted different about what makes me happy.

I look at EVERYTHING day to day now and really try and appreciate any and all good in the day.

I love when strangers say hello. I love when someone lets you go in traffic.
Just stupid, simple little things can really have an impact on your day.

I just love to see the good in people and in the world. There is so much bad but, so much good right?

I love the sound of my daughter's voice when she is happy.

I'll shaddup now
