My daughter is downstairs watching hockey with her daddy.

Hearing him explain the game to her is so funny. For example, "The Dallas Stars are in black. They're the good guys. The ones in white with the sharks on their shirts are the bad guys." My daughter responds, "Yeah, they're yucky!"

My favorite part was when he explained to her that one of the guys was in the penalty box and couldn't play because he got in trouble. She gasped and said," You mean he's in time out? He's in big trouble!"

I've got five baby bluebirds in my birdhouse; their little heads aren't any bigger than my little fingernail!

I saw a hummingbird yesterday and rarely get to see one. It was like getting the chance to see something special.

listening to good music that I never get to hear anymore. I got XM radio. I guess that probably isn't a simple pleasure is it? But I LOVE it. I have heard more songs that I used to LOVE that I have not heard in YEARS. Music from the 70's and 80's just improves my mood!

So hearing good songs today put me in a good mood. That's a simple pleasure
