    A few years ago, not paying the ridiculous fee that some doctors offices said they would charge you to fill out a form! I was beyond insulted, and filled it out myself and went into my appointment and pointed to the line where the doctor needed to sign. He had no problem with it.

    I had that "I hope I DO pay you that stupid fee!" attitude. They gave me the evil eye, but there was nothing that they could do about it.

    I think they are just waiting to see if anybody is going to protest the fee.

    Being home from the hospital after hubby's (somewhat more complicated than expected) surgery, and seeing him recovering really well: laughing, being a brat, moving around and walking, and — this morning — cooking again (his favorite hobby)!

    Ditto that.
    Simple pleasure: going through the fridge and cooking/preparing food that needs to be used up resulting in good, healthy eating for the coming week - a crockpot full of mushroom soup, curried squash, fruit salad, roasted cauliflower florets, beets, and salad. Oh, and I fried some tofu in coconut oil, but that didn't last long. There's a little bit of it in the salad.

    New Skin-liquid bandage.
    I had a tiny cut on the tip of my finger. The kind that hurts when water hits it and a bandage is useless.
    Anyway, I found this and it works great. It does sting when you first paint it on.
