When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
Having the past 11 days off work! And having 3 days last week where it was just my kiddies and me. We had Dream Lite dance parties every morning! I don't think I have ever been able to just enjoy being alone with my kiddies since they were born - it was glorious!
Two weeks off from work (unpaid). But spent with my daughter

"Honest concern for others is the key factor in improving our day to day lives. When you are warm-hearted, there is no room for anger, jealousy or insecurity. A calm mind and self-confidence are the basis for happy and peaceful relations with each other. Healthy, happy families and a healthy peaceful nation are dependent on warm-heartedness." Dalai Lama

Today my simple pleasure is having an outing I wasn't really looking forward to canceled at the last minute, so I can leisurely do my Saturday chores: dishes, laundry, bills.
Count your blessings!
Putting my laundry room back together after repairing a leak inside the washer. My husband and I teamed up to fix it. No more towels on the ground with each load of laundry!

Chilly but sunny morning — sitting on the balcony all comfy in my sweats and cow-print high-top slippers — having breakfast and coffee with hubby and just chatting and laughing about stuff.

This past Saturday, I was in the drive through at Starbucks with my mom. I went to give my gift card for payment, when the lady told me that the driver of the car ahead of me had paid our check!!!!! IT was over $9.00. We were so tickled. I then paid for the driver behind my car! I saw a story on this on tv right before Christmas! So nice to see it actually happen.
