Over the weekend there was a period of time when the television was off, my oldest was using the computer with headphones on, my second oldest was hanging out in his room, and my two younger kids were playing nicely downstairs and it was....quiet. We have such a busy household that it is rarely so calm and serene. I enjoyed every second of it!
Planning on spending my tax refund this year on something for me rather than something for the bill collectors, deciding on buying art, buying three pieces on E-bay (one by an artist who has a Wikipedia page - woo hoo!) ahead of the tax refund, and receiving exactly the amount from the government that I paid for the paintings. Aaaaah serendipity.
Promise that we will get to see pictures of your art! Good for you!!!
Twice a year, I get together witholdformerco-workers that I've known for 30 yrs to play cards. Tonights the night! I hope they won't mind the hockey game in the background. I'm sure they'll tell me exactly what they think of that idea! The good thing about long time friends, there's no holding back on opinions!
