Re: What simple things make you happy?
Being released from the hospital without having to do an LP, without more changes to the white matter or lesions. yes, they think I had an ishemic (sp?) stroke last week that aggravated all the symptoms, but other than that - I'm going home, to a place where I belong.
And better yet - my daughter's coming for the weekend!!!!!! :biglove

Happy to here that you are on the mend, hutchlover. I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your daughter.
I'm tickled pink that I have a three day weekend after tomorrow. I love my job, but my co-workers have been another story lately. :nod

Watching my son and daughter in law help the nurses change Zac's sheets and bathe him. You could just see and feel the love from all of them. :biglove
Having my grandson say "Love you too" when I left. :biglove

Seeing family love in a tangible way is priceless !!
Watching my son eating a piece of cinnamon toast with more cinnamon and butter on his face than in his belly. . .
Re: What simple things make you happy?
While I enjoyed this weekend, I have to admit after most of the week in the hospital, that I am smiling that they are all going home early today and after driving to the airport, I can rest & relax all day.
And after all the activity of this weekened, letting the rest of the family do their thing last night while we got to spend time alone with our daughter (and our son) as a family and just ordering a pizza for dinner & playing cards last night.

The little girl (about 3 years old) who pushed the #2 button for me on the elevator today and then shared her Pittsburgh Steelers cheer with me when I commented on the shirt her Mom was wearing.
