| Re: What simple things make you happy? Last night I went to visit my friends who brought their 2 day old baby girl home from the hospital. There was me, my ex (gag), the couple we were visiting and another couple that we were all friends with (and their 1 1/2 yr old son, Noah). I was holding the baby, Ella, as Noah's mom picked him up to have a better look. He stared at her, cocked his head to one side and then said 'kitty' and began to pet her. It was absolutely precious. Ella didn't mind. She slept the entire time, which is adorable because she snorts in her sleep. So adorable! So to sum things up, my friends kids make me happy (I get to enjoy without all the messy clean-up!)  |

| Re: What simple things make you happy? My beautiful niece graduated from high school a couple weeks ago, and she was one of the valedictorians. She has a part-time job, nice friends, doesn't drink/smoke/do drugs. Got scholarships for college. I was bursting with pride sitting there watching her get her diploma.  She has had kind of a rough home life, but has come thru with flying colors. I was happy to be extra generous re: a gift for her. I will help all I can. |

| Re: What simple things make you happy? New makeup...there's just the feeling of walking into MAC when a new collection comes out, trying things out, and then me walking out with a new item or two. Also, cookies fresh out of the oven. I should cut down on my sweets intake, since I have a sweet tooth second to none, but man I love my coconut royales.
