Finding a library book at the door of my home that a student must of delivered today. I love getting those books back however I can!

My simple pleasure today was coming home to chores done right for the first time this week. Bless their hearts, they try, but they're kids and think when I say "vacuum the living room" it means run through the living room in a straight line with the vacuum on and avoid the stuff you've left all over the floor.

My own kids went to the school I work at, so most kids around here know where I live. Some try to come and hang out with me here at home, but I draw the line on that! I need some peace and quiet in my life!

Where do I find this? We've had the rainiest June on record, and that was before the month was half over.

As for things that make me happy, that year #25 is almost over. 26 scares me a bit, but it can't be much worse than 25.

Well our drought is over. It's rained here since Dec. and we've had thunderstorms almost every night the past week. But the days are hot, sunny and gorgeous, so come on down.

One little thing that makes me happy is when I come home from work and my daughter greets me with open arms. Kids can do the simplest things and make you feel good.

I agree, my daughter is ALWAYS excited when I get home from work. I feels so good to walk in the door and be greeted with a big hug!!
