I lost my wallet a few weeks ago. Living in Los Angeles, I assumed it was long gone. A couple of days ago, I received a letter from the local police department notifying me of some property they have in their possession. Today I went down there and recovered my wallet with ALL of my money inside. Unfortunately, they couldn't disclose any information on the good samaritan. This situation may not be so "simple" but it really made me happy.

Thats great! Someone I knew once had left their wallet in a New York City bank, low and beyond the person sent the wallet to their house. Shows you that not everyone in the world is bad.

Simple things that make me happy:

My daughter, who tells me she loves me with all of her heart. (She's 5 1/2) Then, she'll say, "you know, Mommy, I won't always LIKE you but I will always LOVE you".

Being up in the Adirondacks - paddling, hiking, the sounds of the wilderness - no people around for miles, it seems - sitting around a campfire with child/family/boyfriend - watching a million stars slowly reveal themselves in the night sky

And, on a completely different note, I especially like it when the hardworking staff at Dunkin Donuts gets my iced coffee just right (Medium regular iced coffee with a little bit of cream and two Equals). Which is rare.
Love many, trust a few, and always paddle your own canoe

listening to the radio station thinking about a favourite song. Suddenly, the radio station played that favourite song.
You select the person you want to be with, and then you let that person have the opportunity to select you. -Shayla
