What simple things make you happy?

This week I have been feeling lucky every time I walk outside--it's hummingbird season, and there are always 'some', up to as many as 10, zipping around and chattering (they sound like ittybitty dolphins). Not only that, my two butterfly bushes have suddenly been attracting dozens of butterflies at the time, from little ones up to n amazing number of the great big swallowtails.

I have a hummingbird feeder too, queenb..and I love watching them flit and flutter to the feeder. Seems we even have more this summer, I've noticed. I also enjoy the different birds that feed from our bird feeders. The bluejays and cardinals are absolutely gorgeous.

Watching Joeys side go up and down as he sleeps on my bed.

gabriel: I love watching my kitties snooze and their tummies going up and down too! And seeing little toe twitches from dreaming!

Today I woke up literally nose-to nosie with little Bella. She was sleeping on my chest and face and I didn't have the heart to wake her up even though she was so HOT. I was so happy she thought I was her mommie.

Thanks y'all-- I actually think I'd like to find a few more little stones, so I could have a little bigger and more interesting piece made; the stones are actually quite nice but a little small for a big woman to wear as solitaires, and they don't really go together into anything all-that wonderful. But even if it's next year, I'll be bragging!

While I was grocery shopping today, one of the employees gave me a list of what is on what aisle!! I am so easily pleased. I'm going to incorporate it into my grocery store template that I keep on my computer, that way I can update it when I need to!
