Finding a really cool tabletop water fountain for $5.00!
ETA: I just looked up at my beautiful bargain fountain and it's sputtering and producing no water......so much for simple pleasures.
Having a kitty jump on my chest while I'm laying down watching tv. And hearing her purr until she falls asleep. Seeing her little chest rise and fall, and feeling her little feet twitch as she plays in her dreams. And feeling soft and warm again my arm which is curled around her. I never want the moment to end.

Having dinner made and in the oven and it's 3:15.
We have to go to the 1968 event at the museum at 6 and I usually never get it together on nights like this. So now, dinner will be ready at 5 and those that are going can eat and those that are staying can eat. And no one will be starving at 8:30 when I get home.
My boss calling me and telling me I don't have to come in to the office today, he will drop my work by on his way home.
